Putting up Christmas Lights The Easy Way
This is probably the easiest way to put up Christmas lights and you don't have to get on a ladder. This takes me about 45min. if I did it again I would use 1" hooks 24" or 30" on center.

No helmet huh? SMH @ Einstein He's so worried about coming across like a be musing amateur....That he's coming across like a narcissistic amateur Mos definitely a danger to himself Edit: Scott did nothing wrong... he's not the air police administrator in chief and hold zero responsibility or accountability in this situation. He's an angel. Walk/Fly with Jesus Christ Stay Dangerous
Nature has a way of getting rid of the sick. This video is complete stupidity.
What’s the update on Zach?
Zack died in a car accident a couple years ago. He never flew after that day.
@@SlowerLiving yeah I saw this on one of your videos after I left this comment. That sucks and a bit surreal. Makes one think about mortality and what we get to do in life. Watching someone for the first time doing a hobby you are into and being themselves on video one day and then finding out that person no longer exists… room for self reflection.
Scott you’re a great friend, I have a friend myself that he flew complete alone he’s first fly, so much respect
It was crazy but it was clear that Zach was going to do this no matter what, no way you were going to stop him so helping him as much as you did was the right thing to do. He didn’t do too bad.
This dude looks like a full hazard with no education 🤦♂️
I want to do it and I don't have much money to invest but I would never go for it without any instruction!!I'm terrified just to think about it 😂😂
The problem here wasn't the seat, wasn't the weather, wasn't the loose netting, wasn't the throttle cable, it wasn't the choke on the engine,.....it was Zach's complete disregard for his own safety and eagerness to get in the air over making sure he knew what he was doing.
I tried paragliding.. I tied a motor to my back and attached Oprah’s underwear to my shoulders… I haven’t walked since
This is exactly what I'm gonna do!! I learnt to drive on my own, ride my motorbike and now this!! .......thanks UA-cam! 😊😂
Also, it’s only my opinion as I’ve already said as well I’m glad you were there to help him however, if it was me, I would’ve definitely told him and also made sure to put it on video that he’s not ready to fly yet and then he should get some training if not just for his benefit for your own liability and benefit just in case something were to happen you would get a lot more shit
I would not ever leave the ground in anything learned from youtube for any reason.
Awsome. Scott is the shit
Not inspired by this man’s example…and I usually learn about 10 x faster on my own compared to classes incl. motor coordination stuff digger driving took 10 minutes to establish the most useful combinations by trial and error and an hr to reach full effectiveness…but am going to make an exception for paramotoring read the book, study and then go for proper training. Why not, it’s fairly cheap compared to overall cost it’s not worth risking a nasty injury due to an avoidable over sight….I don’t like loose ends and uncertainty, everything should be accounted for and working don’t just turn up with equipment you don’t fully understand expecting someone to sort it out or just try on your own not knowing if it’s set up right…not smart. The guy did seem well prepared on the basics but who knows what would have happened without the extra instructions?
Id imagine osha loves you guy, buuuut, the fun gods, not so much 🤷🏼
So many things on here he says I don't exactly what they are for lol. Time for training cat! Not sure what that strap does, ok I think I am ready lol Good thing Scott was there!
NO NO NO, just no, i woudl walk away dont want to be involved in this sh$%t
Besides the helmet, his first launch without throttle helped him, just perfect, both sides of the wing came up at the same time, way better than mine. Mine been pulled by my instructor 😅. You did your ground handling well. You deserve that flight.🎉
Those unattached straps were for the padded shoulder straps to carry the weight of the motor until the wing lifts it. I did a lot of self learning with my setup but I never attempted to leave the ground under power until I had some training!
A little bit of knowledge is a dangerous thing. I don't mean any insult to this student, but the fact is he is not ready to learn. Constantly interrupting to finish instructors sentences... This shows he is not listening. He was lucky to have you, however I really wish you put your foot down. The student is too immature personality to be taking on a sport like this
Omg you stole my idea 😂 Man i’m jealous. Nothing makes me more excited than to get into this by the summer. I just cannot wait. Adventures abound
Yep. It was fun. I should do it again sometime.
I.diot!
I carry a .40 caliber when I go out to the forest, i got shot with a 9mm & I didn't know it ( disabled veteran ) so if a 9mm didn't make me flinch, I doubt it will stop a bear
Yep. I only have a 9mm
Dude is insane, without having the harness sorted, never should have even thought about flying, and the wife and kid messing with the motor... Apparently Zach has a death wish. Absolutely crazy... Watched until the motor finally started up not gonna watch this guy kill himself in front of his wife and child
He has a great flight. Perfect landings too. You should finish it.
@@SlowerLiving sounds like he should go play the lottery, because he got extremely lucky. Glad it worked out, I just hope others don't see this video and decide I CAN DO IT TOO, many incidents=stronger FAA regulations=sucks the fun right out of a hobby. Just like they did to RC aircraft flying.
You were probably taught to turn your motor off when landing but DONT. That is so dangerous. You never know if an animal will suddenly appear or a big swirl of wind suddenly stalls your wing and you are 30ft up and had you still had your engine on then squeeze and avoid catastrophy. My engine stays on at idle, no clutch, until my wing is down. So please dont turn your engine off until you are safely on the ground. It bugs me sooo much that a few schools teach that. Think about planes landing. Do they cut the engine before they land. Nope. They go to idle INCASE they need to do a go around. Turning your engine off completely takes away your safety net.
I don't think my instructor said one way or the other. But in most situations I shut off the motor because the likelihood of getting a string in your prop or tripping and getting a heel in the prop or falling on the throttle while slim is of greater likely hood than needing the throttle in the last 7 seconds of landing. I've never had a swirl of wind stall my wing or had a wild animal attack but I have seen guys suck a line into their motor. I also like having one less thing to focus on in a landing. But if the risks are higher with a difficult lz I on rare occasion leave the throttle running until touchdown.
Interesting comments from lots of folks. I agree that it is always a great idea to get instruction if available. However let's face it, at one time there was a guy who decided, Hey, let me get this big fan, put it on my back and run down this field with a parachute and see what happens. Did he have instruction? Was it risky? I am a big fan of training and instruction, but I am also a big fan of folks that have guts. I watched the video. I did not see him do anything that was inherently unsafe or foolhardy. In fact I have seen my share of videos showing instructors putting students up in conditions they had no business flying in. Somebody has to lead and do it without any prior instruction or training. If one person can be a pioneer and make it happen, why not anyone else?
What an irresponsible thing for you to do. I’m glad you did it because now we get to see what the most unsafe approach to the sport is. If he had died, it would be on your head for agreeing to be a part of this. You are the reason dell comes off like a jerk. He’s tired of watching idiots do stuff like this.
glad you are still flying... is Zack still flying?
Zack never flew again. And sadly recently died in a car wreck.
@@SlowerLivingthat’s terrible. Sorry to hear that. I suppose it’s nice that he at least got to fly once with your help.
There are many many guys and gals just like Zack. Thanks for not making him feel like a jerk just for wanting to fly.
I’ve watched this video five times. I am a PPG pilot and I thought about flying with no training in the beginning. Don’t do what he did that’s not how it always works out. He’s lucky he didn’t die.
Beautiful first launch to me! Even without that chest strap 😬
OMG best life-critical realtime instruction I have ever witnessed. Every 'lesson' I ever had, was in hindsight basically a joke.
A guy who knows something helping. A guy who wants to know something , good work
Top video mate
This is probably the most "greenhorn" shit I've ever seen. Its idiots like this that make the FAA step in and make new regulations that ruin the fun for responsible people. Even had his whole family watching. This video has to be fake just to get comments. Well you achieved that for sure.
Everyone on this video are morons
I must say I was on the edge of my seat the whole time, because I thought the guy was going to get hurt and he had two small children to take care of. I'm glad he did not get hurt but I would recommend training first.
to many gays commenting on here
This is stage we're okay
Nope. This is real. I don't think I could have staged it if I tried.
Are u still flying ??
I am but not as much. Life's pretty busy.
Am I the only one who watch this video, and I’m not scared and consider a motivational video to teach yourself?
I took lessons on paragliding and after 5 years of successfully gliding, I decided to upgrade to powered paragliding, an instructor worked with me for a couple hours, and off I went with power,,, thank god I had a pro go over the proper technique of power with me, or I would be a statistic now!!! Being a pro with glider is a totally different animal than powerd
Did he buy his used ?
He bought new
@@SlowerLiving hey another quick question?do you think a used one from eBay would be pretty decent one for starters as well?
@@yotiep.1072 it's a gamble. I bought a unit on craigslist that was brand new for half the price. That's the unit I've been flying for 8 years.
@@SlowerLiving oh wow, nice!!I definitely appreciate you telling me this information..I will check into that one too
Doesn't need that strap until he falls half out of it 🤦♂️🤦♂️
I don´t think it´s ok to blame paramotor producers or sellers! It is always the PILOT who has to take care about skill (education, licences e.c.t.), equipement, start/landing permit and weather. If one of these things says no, what do you think would be smart do do? Glad you guys managed it, to keep it relativly save but you scared the sh.t out of me ;D
It may be me but this seemed very scary, so many things not sorted.
I won't be buying anything Blackhawk.
It's a bit dodgy, like your Carbin fibre submarine:)
Good thing you were there to help him.
17 minutes in, and I am really worried about this guy...
